Growing up in Eagle River, Tyler gives credit to the breathtaking landscape of Alaska for sculpting his cognitive process. In 2014, Tyler received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. He believes that it is not our job as designers to simply sculpt the landscape, but to identify the multiple systems that must symbiotically fit within a design in order to fulfill the balance of nature and humanity. Spaces in the landscape must be designed in a manner that respond to and benefit the social, transportation, and environmental systems in which they exist. His collective experience encompasses projects in construction, construction documentation and design. Inspired by the professional excellence that Bluegreen offers, he is excited to be a part of the team. Aside from landscape architecture, you can find Tyler in the mountains seeking adventure by hiking, biking, fishing, and snowboarding.
